Strata Committee Nomination Form
If it’s important for you to be able to have a say in what happens at your building, then consider joining the Strata Committee.
Strata Committee members are elected at a meeting following the Annual General Meeting.
Your nomination can be submitted in writing before or orally during the Annual General Meeting.
Any owner can nominate themselves for a position on the Strata Committee as long as they are financial and remain financial for the year.
You can also nominate another owner or someone who holds a proxy onto the Strata Committee (unless the proxy is not valid – e.g. they have exceeded their proxy limit). In this instance, both parties must remain financial for the entire year for them to be enabled to vote at the Committee Meetings.
How do I do this?
Download the Strata Committee Nomination form below, which must then be signed by you and the person you’re nominating and return it to your Strata Manager via email prior to the meeting or send us an email with the lot owner name and lot number or proxy name and ask the person you’re nominating to send us an email consenting to the nomination.
Joining the Strata Committee is not a decision that should be taken lightly as dealing with the day to day issues of a strata scheme can be challenging. You’ll be part of a team that’s entrusted to run the scheme in conjunction with the Strata Manager and, working as a team, will ensure the smooth running of the building.
